Problems are sometimes all about seeing things from the right perspective. Many may remember this type of problem from an IQ test, or during an afternoon learning how to rotate CAD models. Indeed, those more use to making 3D models may have an advantage here. But, let's see how you get on.

This month's Engineer's Puzzle is a straightforward one, at least to explain. Click on the picture to right to enlarge, then match the flat shape to the folded 3D shape in both. There is no time limit, but a respectable time is five minutes for both.

Let us know how you get on by leaving a comment below with your time and answers.

The solution to both puzzles is the same. Both turn in to 3 respectively. Do you see it, now? Were you right? Do you disagree?
