Swedes and French to make strong presence at UK Autosport

While the UK continues to dominate world motorsport, other countries are always eager to find opportunities and both Swedish and French companies will have a strong presence in the trade section of this year's Autosport International show on January 13th and 14th.

Exhibitors in the Swedish Motorsport Pavilion will include: WheelCam, showing its camera based wheel alignment system; ECU specialist Nira Control and carbon fibre expert Oxeon. Exhaust manufacturer Ferrita Sweden will attend the show for the first time, showing its innovative exhaust system for the new Camaro Cup race car. Also present will be Ovako Steel and Saab.

Tony Ring, CEO of the Swedish Motorsport Industry association, commented: "Autosport International is the biggest motorsport trade show in Europe and one of the most important in the world, and we think it's crucial for Sweden's motorsport industry to be represented there."

At the same time, the French pavilion will feature multinational Aubert & Duval, a French metallurgy specialist which is a key supplier to Formula One, the World Rally Championship, IndyCar and MotoGP. The company provides super alloys and aluminium and titanium alloys.

Alongside will be Sescoi International, Accor Lubrifiants and SEMIP. Sescoi International software is used in the manufacture of automotive, defence, aerospace and motorsport components while Accor Lubrifiants provides lubricants to the automotive, public transport, civil engineering, agricultural and industrial sectors. SEMIP supplies of precision potentiometers to the aerospace, defence and motorsport industries. Also in attendance will be Da Luz Développement, one of France's leading motorsport fabrication companies, specialising in the manufacturing of engine and gearbox components, as well as custom stainless steel exhaust systems.

Magali Pialat, Trade Development Assistant at Ubifrance, commented: "Autosport International is a fantastic opportunity for these companies. The show is widely regarded as being one of the most important trade shows on the calendar, so we're sure it will be a fruitful two days."
