Event features industrial measurement at the speed of light

New scanCONTROL 25xx laser scanners from Engineering Materials Live exhibitor Micro Epsilon are designed for industrial measurement tasks and are said to provide a combination of compact design, versatility and signal stability to deliver an excellent price/performance ratio. According to Micro Epsilon this is especially true for measurement tasks involving large quantities. Scancontrol 25xx is available with three measuring ranges and a comprehensive selection of accessories including protective housings, cable types and interface converters, making the series ideal for integration into production lines and machine building.

Micro Epsilon will be showcasing these and a wide variety of other measurement products on its stand at Engineering Materials Live on 12th March. The event is the UK’s only dedicated one-day advanced materials exhibition, and offers visitors a unique opportunity to meet and talk with some of the most experienced technologists and application experts in the country. Entry to Engineering Materials Live is free of charge by pre-registration, and the show takes place at the acclaimed British Motor Museum. The venue is located at Gaydon, adjacent to the Aston Martin and JLR plants south of Warwick and just 1 minute from the M40. There is abundant free parking, and for visitors arriving before 1030, a free bacon roll and brew too. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge all day at the event, and pre-registered exhibition visitors can also visit the superb Museum, with almost 300 fascinating cars on show, free of charge too (standard adult entry fee otherwise is £14.50).
