Visitors will be able to see Tufnol’s full range of traditional laminates and the company will be placing a special focus on its machining capabilities and high-performance materials. These include carbon fibre, high temperature resistant and low-smoke, flame retardant products.
Roy Thomason, managing director of Tufnol Composites, said: “We enjoyed great success at both EML exhibitions in 2017 and then also at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham earlier this year, so we’re looking forward to coming to Duxford again in September. Visitors to our stand will be able to see our impressive product range, which is suitable for extensive uses and applications.
“They will also be able to meet with our team, who will discuss our products and offer any technical advice they may need on a range of issues. The event also offers us an excellent networking opportunity with our industry colleagues, existing and new customers.”
Tufnol Composites has been manufacturing laminates in the UK for almost 90 years. Today thousands of new uses are still being created and the company works with leading brands such as Bombardier, London Underground, Rolls-Royce and Airbus.
